Week 6: Galena vs Amboy
Galena - In a very meaningful crossover game, Galena and Amboy both came into this game winless. A win by either would help out either side of the conference, as well as help impact the other crossover teams that each team has played for playoff points. Both teams combine for over 1,100 wins, which ranks them 1 and 2 all-time in conference history. The Blackhawks would slowly take control of the game, as they put away the Pirates 26-0 to improve to 3-1. After a scoreless 1st quarter, the Hawks would score with 5:43 left in
Week 3: Orangeville vs Galena
Orangeville - With two teams that were looking to make a statement heading into week 3, Orangeville and Galena played in a defensive slug-fest all afternoon. The Broncos were looking for their 2nd straight win, while the Pirates needed to get their first win coming off some tough losses. This game on paper looked like a great game to open up the conference schedule, and it didn't live that down if you like defensive football. Right off the bat, Galena opened the game with the
