Week 2 | Dakota vs AFC

Dakota -

The Dakota Indians wasted no time making up for a late arrival official crew. Aiden Cassidy took the opening kickoff 75 yards for an Indians touchdown, giving Dakota a quick 7-0 lead. After a quick 3 and out for AFC, Dakota was in good position to add to their lead. Dakota wasted no time, as Josh Clark connected with Carter Drake for a 33 yard Touchdown pass giving the Indians a 13-0 lead with 7:19 remaining in the first quarter.

The Raiders were unable to get anything going offensively and Dakota took advantage. Dakota added three more scores before halftime, 2 on the legs of Trey Engelbrecht, and a 52 yard reception by Carter Drake. The Indians led 42-0 at halftime. At halftime the Indians had outgained the Raiders 236-29.

The Indians would add a touchdown in the third quarter to push the lead to 49-0. The Raiders were able to finally push across a score with 14.5 seconds remaining in the game leaving Dakota the victors 49-6.

The Indians were led on the ground by Engelbrecht with 94 yards and 3 touchdowns. Josh Clark added 118 yards through the air to go along with 2 touchdowns. Carter Drake led the receiving core with 98 yards and 2 touchdowns. Caleb McBride led the Raiders with 47 yards rushing on 17 carries. Matt Thompson pitched in 34 yards rushing on 14 carries. Jeremy Etes scored the lone AFC touchdown.
