Round 1 | GCMS vs EPC

EPC came into their 1st round match-up with the tall task of taking on the #2 seed and 3rd ranked GCMS Falcons. Unfortunately for the Wildcatz, it wouldn't take long for the Falcons to take control of this game as they stormed out to a 21-6 lead, after Jayden Kempel returned a kickoff 81 yards for the score. But GCMS would tack on more in the 2nd quarter as they were up 50-6 at half time, cruising to their 50-14 win Saturday. Kempel would add another score on a 6 yard TD reception from Braden Smargiassi.
EPC finishes the season with a 5-5 record, but will return a large majority of their team next season.
GCMS will advance to play West Carroll in the 2nd round next week in Savanna. West Carroll advanced after beating Fieldcrest Saturday 40-0.
