Week 6 | Stockton vs AFC
Franklin Grove -
Friday night saw the AFC Raiders host the Stockton Blackhawks. The Raiders came into the game desperately needing a win to stay in the playoff hunt, while Stockton was looking to remain undefeated in Upstate play.
The Blackhawks would jump out to a 14-0 lead behind the legs of Brian Booth and Colin Dvorak, but the Raiders would answer as the Blackhawks took a 14-6 lead into the half.
The second half was all Blackhawks however, as they ran away with the victory 45-6. The loss drops AFC to 2-4, meaning the Raiders playoff hopes live on them winning their last 3 games. With the win, Stockton can become playoff eligible with another win next week.
Colin Dvorak finished the night with 140 yards rushing and a TD on 10 carries, while Brian Booth added 67 yards and two TDs on 11 carries and caught one pass for a 46 yard TD. Adam Hart had 72 yards rushing to lead AFC.
