Week 4 | Orangeville vs AFC

Orangeville -

In a big game in the Upstate Division, the AFC Raiders travelled to Orangeville to take on the Broncos. This game had big potential playoff implications on the line, as AFC was looking to bounce back from back to back losses, and Orangeville was looking to keep their win streak going coming off back to back wins.

The Broncos would charge out of the gate first, as just 7 minutes into the game QB Austin Guy found Breyton Schofield on a 50 yard pitch and catch that put the Broncos on the board, and after Guy ran the 2 point try in, Orangeville held an 8-0 lead, that would remain the score at the half as both teams were trying to figure each other out.

In the 3rd quarter, it was the Broncos who would score again, this time on a Garret Rodebaugh 5 yard run, and a failed 2 point try would leave the score in favor of Orangeville, 14-0. The Broncos would add more insurance in the 4th quarter on their ground attack as Dalton Lowe hit pay dirt from 15 yards out, giving Orangeville a 20-0 lead after the failed 2 point try, and the Broncos would walk away with the victory as that would be the final.

On the night, Orangeville gained 319 total yards, with 112 passing and 207 rushing. Leading the passing attack was Guy, who went 5 for 8 passing for 112 yards and the 1 TD pass. He would also add 15 rushing attempts for 58 yards. The Bronco rushing attack was led by Dalton Lowe, who had a game high 72 yards on 8 attempts with 1 TD, and Rodebaugh would pitch in with 63 yards rushing on 11 attempts to go with his TD.

For AFC, they finished the night with 114 total yards led by Adam Hart with 67 yards on 22 attempts.
