Week 9 | Aquin vs Amboy
Aquin was in search of win number 8 Friday to seal a 1st round home game. In their way were the Amboy Clippers.
Amboy had a very strong start as they marched the field after the opening kickoff and put up the first points on the board. Then Aquin stormed back to take a 48-17 win and clinch the first round home game.
For Aquin Jonah Diemer had another solid night passing going 10-14 for 152 yards and 3 TD's. On the receiving end of those passes were Tim Harrington for one and Zac Cummins for two.
Cole Stykel had 175 yards and added 3 scores of his own to lead the Bulldogs.
Aquin will play host to Fithian Oakwood in the 1st round Saturday afternoon.
