Coming into the game with a 3-4 record the Thunder were hanging on to their playoff lives. A win Friday night would give them a chance to become playoff eligible with a win next week.
West Carroll would leave little doubt on Friday as they sunk the Pirates 48-3. Kody Plattenburger led the passing attack with 113 yards and 1 TD, as brother Kaleb Plattenburger led the ground attack with 96 yards and a score.
Mickey Lorrento led the Pirate offense with 82 yards passing as the Pirates put an exclamation mark on a season that started with promise.
