Week 3 | Pecatonica at EPC
EPC (3-0) is making a statement to the rest of the conference saying they are back after an unusual 2-7 finish last season. Friday night was no different as the Catz took out conference foe Pecatonica (0-3) 49-8.
Keegan Schubert led the EPC attack with 154 yards rushing on 10 carries, adding TD runs of 22 and 70 yards. Jarod Kempel added two scores with a 45 yard run and a 47 yard reception from Braden Smargiassi. Brighton Haverland was in on two scores also, with a 19 yard TD run and a 34 yard TD pass to Skyler Fischer. Fischer would also return a fumble for a TD.
Pecatonica's lone score came on a 4 yard run by Maverick Seaton.
