Week 3 | Aquin at Durand

Aquin (3-0) came into Durand (0-3) Friday night looking to get their 3rd win to remain undefeated on the year, and they did just that. Aquin opened up an early 21-0 1st quarter lead and expanded that to a 42-0 lead by halftime en route to a 42-13 decision.

Aquin was led on the ground by Cole Stykel who would score 4 TD's, 3 by way of rushing and 1 on a blocked punt. He led the Aquin ground attack with 106 yards rushing, all in the 1st half. Jonah Diemer would punch in the second Aquin TD of the night in the 1st quarter on a 10 yard QB keeper. Drew Broge would also add to the scoring for Aquin as he took a pick 6 from Easton DeMus to paydirt.

Aquin would get on the board on the 3rd quarter as Grant McCorkle ran the ball in from 13 yards out to bring the score to 42-7. Then after an Aquin fumble on their first possesion of the 3rd quarter, Trenton Hinrichs would scamper in from 26 yards out to make the score 42-13 after a failed extra point attempt.
