The #6 Class 1A state ranked Cardinals started quickly. Anthony Christensen returned the opening kickoff 75 yards for a TD. The Cards would never look back en route to a 41-0 victory.
Matt Akins scored on a 6 yard run, Gavin Fuchs scored on a 4 yard run, Joseph Bowers had a 1 yard dive for a TD, and Hunter Daws had a 5 yard TD run. Christensen would score one more time with a 2 yard TD run.
Forreston had 364 yards of offense while holding AFC to just 56 total yards. Fuchs had a game high 106 yards rushing to lead the Cardinals, while Adam Hart led AFC in rushing with 68 yards on 16 carries.
