River Ridge
The River Ridge Wildcats do not have the history a lot of the other NUIC school's have, due in part that River Ridge became their own team in 2010. What has turned out to be a good thing for the Wildcats, the success on the gridiron hasn't followed, at least not yet. The Wildcats best season came in 2013 when they finished 4-5, but looking forward to this fall the Wildcats look primed to make their first run to the playoffs in school history. Polo - Polo came into Friday night looking to stay in the hunt for the playoffs, but so were the River Ridge Wildcats. A close first half would see the Wildcats stake an 8-7 lead at the half, but the second half belonged to Marco RB Reid Taylor, as he carried the ball 26 times for 135 yards and 2 scores, and Braiden Soltow went 3 for 4 passing for 40 yards and 1 TD to lead the Marcos to victory 29-8. Week 5 | Stockton vs River Ridge
Stockton - Stockton came into the game with a matching record as the River Ridge Wildcats, both sitting at 2-2. But the Blackhawks wanted to prove that they are still a team to contend for the Upstate title, and wanted to inch closer to that goal, and get closer to playoff eligibility as they steamrolled River Ridge 34-0 Friday night at John O'Boyle Field.
