Milledgeville Missiles

The Milledgeville Missiles enter the 2018 season in search of their 3rd consecutive playoff appearance. The last time the Missiles made 3 consecutive playoff appearances was from 1984-87, under Hall of Fame coach Gary Hartje. If you are at a Missiles game today, you can still see the Ol' Coach walking the sidelines, helping Coach Jason Wroble and staff out to bring the Missiles back to prominence.

Millegeville squeaked into the playoffs in 2016, and narrowly lost to the #1 seed Marquette Crusaders. They followed that up in 2017 with a much improved team as was expected, and broke into the 2nd round of the playoffs, gaining their 1st playoff win in 10 seasons. In 2018, the Missiles will be a force once again, returning most of the team from last year's 8-3 team. Coach Wroble has brought in a demeanor to help restore the Missiles to the golden days, getting more kids active in the weight room and summer workouts. In our opinion, the Missiles will be the team to beat in the NUIC Upstate in 2018.

Milledgeville is 17-21 in the playoffs, but have never made the state final game, coming up short 3 times in 1998, 1999, and 2008. In search of their 22nd trip to the playoffs, expectations will be high for the Missiles in 2018. They will be looking for their first conference crown since the 2008 season.
