Week 1 | Stockton vs Warren

Warren -

Stockton has long been a power in the fabled NUIC conference, and has won the Upstate conference 5 times over the last 6 seasons. Losing a large amount of seniors from last year's team that went 9-1, along with replacing their head coach, this years Blackhawks are out to prove that they are still force to be reckoned with in the Upstate division.

They opened the season Friday night against Hwy 78 rival, the Warren Warriors. Warren is coming off a disappointing 2-7 season, but they too lost a lot of key seniors, and are extremely low in numbers compared to their rival from the south.

With the disparity in available players, the Blackhawks wasted no time in route to a 43-0 opening season win Friday night with 405 yards on offense. Leading the attack for the Blackhawks was Collin Dvorak who rushed for 178 yards and 2 TD's. Helping lead the way was Brian Booth who had 110 yards on 10 carries with 2 TD's. Warren would finish the night with 149 yards on offense.
