Week 8 | Dakota vs Milledgeville

In a matchup that saw both Dakota and Milledgeville enter the game needing a win to become playoff eligible, it was the Indians who would come out on top with a 27-0 victory over the Missiles Friday night.
Dakota took advantage in the second quarter after a scoreless 1st quarter. Led by Andrew Wenger on the ground and Cade Meier on the air attack, Dakota put up 20 unanswered points to take a 20-0 lead into half time.
In the 3rd quarter Wenger capped off the scoring with a 26 yard TD run. For the night Wenger had 141 yards rushing to get above 1,000 yards on the season, with 2 TD's. Meier threw for 183 yards and connected on 2 TD passes, as Dakota had a well balanced attack.
For the Missiles Brexton Flynn was 8-17 passing for 65 yards. Nathan Rahn and Christian Toms-Smith led the Missile ground attack with 48 yards and 46 yards respectively, but it wasn't enough to get by the Indians.
