This matchup featured two teams clinging to their playoff hopes. West Carroll was in more desperate need than East Dubuque Friday night, however East Dubuque also faced a potential must win game to get them to the playoffs as their next 2 weeks will be hard for them to find a win.
West Carroll would jump out to a 16-0 lead on a pair of Kaleb Plattenburg scoring runs from 1 yard and 4 yards out. He would also haul in a 30 yard TD pass from his brother Kody Plattenburg as the Thunder rolled over the Warriors en route to a 43-0 win.
The Thunder also received scores from Kaleb Hartman on a 1 yard TD run, a Logan Barker 11 yard TD run, and a Devon Murray 1 yard fumble return.
Kaleb Plattenburg finished with 174 yards on 18 carries and 2 TD's.
