Dakota came into Pecatonica Friday in a battle of the Indians. Dakota needed a win to keep pushing for that automatic bid into the playoffs. Pecatonica came in looking for their first win of the year.
Dakota jumped out to a 27-0 halftime lead thanks to Andrew Wenger and Grant Gallagher. The duo would each score 2 TD's a piece in the first half. Wenger would score on 4 and 10 yard TD runs and Gallagher would follow suit with 4 and 10 yard runs himself.
In the second half Dakota would strike quickly as Mason Peters ran in from 20 yards out and Carter Drake hauled in a Cade Meier TD pass from 8 yards out to make it 41-0 and cap Dakota's scoring for the night.
Mav Seaton would score the lone Pecatonica touchdown as he ran in from 15 yards out.
