Week 6 | Lena-Winslow vs Amboy

Lena

This was the first time that the Lena-Winslow Panthers and the Amboy-Lamoille Clippers have ever met on the gridiron. The Panthers weren't looking to be friendly hosts either, as they were in search of win number 5 to become playoff eligible.

The game was a tight one early on as the game remained scoreless after the 1st quarter. The 2nd quarter was a different story however, as the Panther train rolled out. Tanner Lawfer opened the scoring in the 2nd quarter with a 12 yard QB keeper for the TD giving the Panthers a 7-0 lead. After that, it was Bailey Litow's night to shine as he paced the Panther express with a game high 162 yards rushing on 12 carries and 3 TD's. Litow would score on runs of 50, 36, and 3 yards. Payden Lingle would cap the scoring for Le-Win on a 47 yard TD run as the Panthers blanked the Clippers 34-0.

Lingle would finish the night with 106 yards rushing on 14 carries and Rhaveon Valentine added another 88 yards rushing on 13 carries.
