What was billed as the Upstate Game of the Week definitely lived up to the hype. Aquin edged out Warren 25-22 for the Bulldogs 6th straight win over the Warrior's.
Cole Luedeking got Aquin going early, racking up 92 yards rushing in the first half along with a 59 yard TD reception in the 1st quarter. Luedeking would move to the offensive line in the second half, switching positions with Cole Stykel. Stykel would pick up 90 yards rushing on 13 carries with 2 TD's in the second half.
For Warren, Andrew Kaiser would score all 3 Warrior TD's, finishing the night with 54 yards rushing on 7 carries and 32 receiving yards. Down 25-14 with 5:05 left in the game, Kaiser would score his last TD of the night. The Warriors would capitalize on the 2 point conversion to bring them within a field goal of the Bulldogs. Aquin would stop a 4th down and 12 attempt from the Warriors on Warren's 25 yard line to seal the victory.
